Role- BDR Sales Manager

SponsorUnited is looking for an all-star Business Development Manager to lead a team of BDRs who position the platform to all verticals we serve and deliver highly qualified leads to our sales team. The BDR Manager will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, training and developing a BDR team. They will work closely with the Head of Sales and CMO to ensure and maximize highly qualified sales leads.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively build, manage and train a team of 3-4 entry level representatives focused on booking appointments across all of SU’s key verticals, including property, brand, agency and media prospects, with a laser focus on development of talent and driving conversions to meetings which lead to sales.
  • Enforce and manage high-level weekly outreach and appointment expectations for the newly created BDR team, ensuring quotas are met and exceeded on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Provide guidance and instruction on a day-to-day basis to ensure team members understand and execute their responsibilities.
  • Participation and facilitation of all new business sales-related activities including demo preparation, sales meeting preparation and sales support.
  • Overall collaboration and participation in ensuring brand integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively between sales, marketing, and operation teams, ensuring a smooth process for business development strategies and new client acquisition.
  • Strive to achieve and exceed individual, company, and department goals and objectives.
  • Continually build your knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of high volume sales experience within the sports/entertainment industry using cold outreach and existing networks.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a team lead or management role.
  • Experience working with sponsorship and media data, analytics or insights with the ability to tell the story using data points.
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Excellent communication, time management and prioritization skills.
  • A passion for uncovering a client’s need, solving it, and closing the deal.
  • Positive attitude, highly motivated with a relentless pursuit to win.
  • Ability to work in a 100% remote, virtual environment
  • SaaS or technology background strongly preferred.
